Hon. Joseph Boahen Aidoo
The Hon. Joseph Boahen Aidoo was born on 13th December 1957 and is a Researcher, Lecturer, Politician and an Administrator.
He holds a Degree in Geography (specializing in Resource Development) from the University of Ghana. Mr. Aidoo also has an Mphil Degree in Geography and a Certificate in Land Reform, Agricultural and Rural Development from the Land Reform Institute (LRTI) Taoyuang, Taiwan.
Hon. Boahen Aidoo, was a research fellow cum Lecturer with the Kwame Nkrumah University Science and Technology.
He has been the principal Country Researcher for several International organizations such as the United Nation’s Food and Agricultural Organization, International Food Policy Research Institute, Washington, as well as HR Wallingford.

Hon. Boahen Aidoo was elected Member of Parliament to Ghana’s Parliament in 2001 and served for 12years. In his days in Parliament, Hon. Boahen Aidoo served on a number of select committees as well as serving as the Chairman of the Lands and Forestry committee.
The President of Ghana appointed him as the Minister for Western Region in 2001 and occupied the position for five and half years.
He is currently the Chief Executive of the Ghana Cocoa Board.
Mr. Joseph Forson
Mr Joseph Forson is the Managing Director of Cocoa Marketing Co. (Gh) Ltd. He is responsible for the development and implementation of Strategic Plans for effective and efficient running of the Company. He also manages the Human, Material and Financial Resources of the Company to Increase Shareholder’s Value. He formulates policies for approval of the Board as well as implements Policies as directed by the Board.
Mr. Kofi Addo
Kofi Addo has had a considerable experience in international trade, public sector policy and management for a period of almost twenty years. His core expertise includes Trade Analysis and Promotion, Business Development, Investment Appraisal and Promotion.
As Minister Counsellor and Head of Trade and Investment Section of the Ghana High Commission, UK, his primary responsibility is to advise the government on matters relating to Trade and Investment promotion and to aggressively promote and protect Ghana’s commercial interest in United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
He has also participated in several high-level Government Trade and Investment missions held in USA, Germany, Singapore, China, Malaysia, UAE, Vietnam, Brazil, India, Italy, Netherlands, Japan, and other African countries.
Mr. Barnett Quaicoo
Barnett Quaicoo is the Head of Ghana Cocoa Marketing Company UK Ltd. He doubles as the Secretary of the Company and responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Company. His expertise is in Trade Finance, Commodity Trading, Research, Value Creation and Strategic Management. Barnett has spent the last 13years of his working life in the cocoa industry. He has extensive appreciation of the supply chain of the global cocoa economy.As the Head of GCMC UK Ltd, his responsibilities include international commodity (Cocoa, Coffee and Forex) trading activities, business development, gathering and analysing market information, facilitating and coordinating the Annual Cocoa Syndication Loan for the Ghana Cocoa Board and liaising with clients and banks to ensure prompt collections of sold cocoa. Promoting Ghana cocoa at international trade fairs and looking for emerging markets and trading opportunities is key to his functions
Barnett holds a MPhil and MBA from the University of Cape Coast and the Central University College respectively.
